Susan is a photographer, creative entrepreneur, and passionate traveler who believes that photography can do more than capture beautiful places — it can help tell stories, inspire compassion, and encourage conservation.
Throughout her career, Susan has used photography and visual storytelling to support wildlife conservation, animal welfare, and community initiatives. Through her creative business, Good Focused, she continues to explore the connections between art, nature, and positive change.
For Susan, travel is about curiosity, discovery, and seeing the world from new perspectives. Whether photographing wildlife, exploring a new culture, or learning from local communities, she loves the unexpected moments that make a journey unforgettable.
Susan is also an experiential travel advisor affiliated with LuxRally Travel, bringing professional travel knowledge and experience to the adventures she helps put together.

Through Howland Studios, April has created large-scale installations, community art projects, and fundraising initiatives that connect creativity with causes close to her heart.
Her passion for giving back has also taken her into communities around the world, where she has supported education, infrastructure, and projects that create lasting opportunities.
April is also a travel advisor with Kensington Tours, combining her love of exploration with a professional understanding of travel planning.

How Our Adventures Work
Each adventure begins with an idea and a destination we're excited to explore.
We collaborate with independent destination specialists and travel providers to identify experiences that reflect our interests and values.
Professional local operators and guides provide the destination services, including guided activities, transportation, and on-the-ground travel arrangements, as specified for each journey.
We'll share the itinerary, introduce the travel partners involved, and explain how to reserve your place.
Then comes the best part: experiencing it together.
A Note About Travel Arrangements
Adventure Artists International is a creative travel community that develops and shares travel concepts and connects like-minded travelers.
Destination guiding, accommodations, transportation, excursions, and other travel services are provided by independent travel suppliers and local operators identified for each adventure. Booking arrangements, supplier responsibilities, payment terms, and cancellation policies are disclosed in the applicable journey materials.
